This is an investigator’s term. It means that each thing by itself might not prove something, but collectively they do. In my previous article, I talked about Bai Ling’s connections to the Kardashians. In Faye Resnick’s 1994 book, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, the author claimed to have kissed Nicole. It's long been rumored that Nicole was having lesbian trysts with her fellow rich friends. O.J. Simpson bragged about having a raucous affair with Kris Jenner, but I have two interpretations. It’s either the Simpsons had an open relationship or they were vengefully two-timing on each other which resulted in a competitive jealousy that could be called a green envy train. Kris may be in denial about her own sexual orientation but she’s always been vocal about how sexually active that she is. One of Kim Kardashian’s friends is Caroline D’Amore, who kissed Paris Jackson at the 2017 MTV Awards. There was a January 2006 blind item about Caroline having a fling with Lindsay Lohan. Bai Ling was a friend of both.
Three years after the above photo, there was an article that addressed Leelee Sobieski being rumoured to be a lesbian. If the actress didn’t want anything to do with the lesbian community, Leelee (or her publicist and manager) could simply have told the journalist (David Foxley) not to say anything about it. John Travolta and Tom Cruise haven’t experienced this in interviews, which makes me think that a denial is simply a way for Leelee to put herself out there without cutting her hair. But kissing Tara Fitzgerald in A Dark Place (2006) and Amy Brenneman in 88 Minutes (2007) should have been more than enough. Minnie Driver played a lesbian in Our Flag Means Death (2023) but the biggest clues are in the past than in the post-woke world. In a 1995 group shot at a fashion show, she was pictured alongside actresses who’ve played gay: Katherine Heigl, Jill Hennessy, Gina Gershon, Rebecca Gayheart and Maxine Bahns.
In November 2006, Minnie Driver played a gig with a bisexual country performer named Liz Phair at a charity event in Beverly Hills. This was two years after Minnie’s first album but a year before her second one. At the same event, an annual cocktail party for Oxfam, Minnie could be seen putting the fond in fondle with Kristin Davis (who kissed Greer Grammer in Deadly Illusions circa 2019). In October 2003, Jennifer Ellison was Minnie’s +1 on the red carpet of a London fashion event. In 2008, Jennifer spoke of having crushes on Pamela Anderson, Madonna and Carmen Electra (who has had many photos taken with Bai Ling). In 2009, it was reported that Jennifer Ellison was going to play a lesbian vampire in a British film called Carmella (which didn’t happen). At the 2003 fashion event, Aid of The Princes Trust at Royal Albert Hall, Minnie and Jennifer adopted the roulette fashion scheme which usually adorns female couples.
As I mentioned in my article titled Velvet Rose Sorority, Eva Longoria kissed women in two films and one TV series. One of those women was Maria Bravo in Carlita’s Secret (2004) but that was filmed six years before the above photos. The event that they were attending was a rally for kids with cancer. The location was the Tropicana Poolside at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. From 1999 to 2001, Maria Bravo was the girlfriend of Bruce Willis. When she dumped him, his ex-wife sent a sympathetic card to her. This woman was the equally bisexual Demi Moore, who broke up with Bruce in 1998 before the divorce was finalized in 2000. Maria was quoted as saying: “I wasn't really comfortable with his habits. I don't want to be specific about that. It wasn't the way that I want to live my life, let's say."
Roselyn Sanchez kissed Dania Ramirez in Devious Maids (2015). Dania kissed Kerry Washington in Spike Lee’s She Hate Me (2004). Bai Ling was in this movie, and she was reported to have hooked up with Kerry. The latter kissed Jamie Chung in season 2 of Unprisoned (2024). Previously, Jamie kissed Frankie Shaw in Knife Fight (2012) and Romy Rosemont in Resident Advisors. Ironically, Jamie and Bai Ling haven’t been seen together despite Bai having her picture taken with Ming-Na Wen, Kelly Hu and Michelle Yeoh. Getting back to She Hate Me, one of the actresses in that was Ellen Barkin. She had lesbian love scenes in Mercy (2000), Trust the Man (2005) and Animal Kingdom (2016). Outside of performances, Ellen kissed Sharon Stone at the 60th Cannes Film Festival on May 23, 2007.
This year, Tori Spelling kissed the bisexual Drew Barrymore on the latter’s talk show. Tori jokingly suggested that they should have a three-way with Matt Bomer. On the subject of threeways, last year was when Tori claimed that she only had one of them despite her many experiences kissing women. She never explained why she never had a MMF. Anyway, Tori said: “So this was behind-the-scenes, behind closed doors of the Queen Mary of all places. But, yeah. This boy wanted it, and I played along. I don't think at any point he was like, ‘Oh my God,’ because he would never have gone forward with it if I had spoken up and said, ‘I don't wanna do this.’ But, yeah, I was like, okay, you know, I feel safe with this human. I feel safe with this female human.”
Even still, Tori Spelling has been photographed with Bai Ling at four Hollywood events. The above event was hosted by Life and Style Magazine at the Montmartre Lounge. The other events were Lineapelle’s 20th Anniversary party on June 12, 2006 and Volkswagen’s annual party on January 4, 2006. On the subject of vehicles, both ladies attended a Vespa Scooter party on June 24, 2000. Summer Altice kissed Cindy Campbell in Pretty Cool (2002). On the September 18, 2002 episode of The Howard Stern Show, Summer was quite forthcoming about her bisexuality. Let’s put it this way - the only way that she could have been less graphic and less vocal would be if she faked an orgasm like Christy Chung did on Bey Logan’s audio commentary for the Hong Kong Legends DVD release of Mr. Yuen Woo-Ping’s Red Wolf (1995).
In the above photo, singer/actress Debbie Gibson attended Lili Claire Foundation’s third annual Las Vegas benefit. She participated in a gay-themed interview with Scott Kearnan that was published in pride month of 2009. In the interview that was posted on June 4 of that year, Debbie said: “I remember being in an all-lesbian club with women hugging me and kissing me, and here I am a 16 year-old girl from Long Island. It was like, “Dorothy, you’re not in Kansas anymore!” I loved it! I loved it, and I couldn’t wait to get to the gay clubs.”
On November 30, 2005, Debbie could be seen with Bai Ling during the grand opening of the Levi’s store in Beverly Hills. They were pictured alongside other actresses who have kissed women on camera - Mena Suvari and Carmen Electra. At the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, Carmen complimented Kyle Richards by saying she would scissor her. If you think that they were talking about hairdressing, forget about it because Carmen was reported to have been in a relationship with Joan Jett two decades ago. They spent time together at the 2006 Dinah Shore Weekend. Later on in November of that year, they were seen kissing and “groping” each other backstage at one of Joan’s gigs in L.A. Joan had even cast Carmen as a bi temptress in the 2006 video for A.C.D.C.
Frances Fisher looked quite butch in the nineties. She certainly enjoyed flexing her muscles at the premiere of Titanic (1997). In April 2004, she could be seen on the verge of kissing Nora Dunn at the New York premiere of Laws of Attraction. There are power couples and then there are power lesbians. At the premiere of Deep Impact in 1998, Frances and Pamela Gidley looked like a power lesbian couple. That year, audiences could see Pamela play a lesbian in The Treat. She played one again in Luster (2003). One of Frances Fisher’s friends is a bi actress who happens to have the same surname. Her forename is Joely. Carrie Fisher is Joely’s half-sister, and her middle name is Frances. As for Frances Fisher, she had a supporting role in a HBO movie called Mrs. Harris (2006). The sapphic-inclined Olivia Wilde and Maria Bello could be seen socializing with her at the 6th Artivist Film Festival Awards on December 5, 2009 in Hollywood.
Let’s get back to The Treat (1998). This featured Robin Antin - one of Bai Ling’s friends. It also featured another female performer: Mink Stole. She later act in Stuck! (2009) starring Karen Black. The bisexual Jane Wiedlin was in this. Also in this was Susan Traylor, who later produced The Key (2014) co-starring Bai. It’s an even smaller world when you consider that Irene in Time (2009) featured Karen Black and starred one of Bai’s friends: Tanna Frederick. Bai and Susan Traylor acted in separate 1998 episodes of Touched by an Angel.
The above photos were taken at the Cannes Film Festival. The exact setting was a cocktail party aboard a Budweiser yacht. Cheri Oteri and Bai Ling were advertising a movie that they were in - Southland Tales (starring Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott and Sarah Michelle Gellar). The aformentioned Nora Dunn was in this. As for Miranda Richardson, she kissed Nicole Kidman in The Hours (2002). Meanwhile, Cheri Oteri kissed Ricki Lake in Park (2006). This film premiered in Las Vegas on June 12 before getting a limited release in February 2007.
February 2007 was when Bai Ling was seen with an actress named Franka Potente at a Puma-sponsored event in a Berlin bar called The Corner. This took place during the Berlinale: this is the short-hand for the Berlin International Film Festival. The ladies had previously attended the Berlinale together in 2005. They served as members of the international jury, but they were also photographed together as a pair on the red carpet. In 2008, Franka played one half of a lesbian couple in a Swiss-financed film called Baba’s Song.
Back to what I said before about Caroline D’Amore, not only was she a close friend of Paris Jackson but a close friend of Paris Hilton (who was familiar with Bai Ling). The cherry rubs must have been juicy because Caroline and Hilton having both slept with Lindsay Lohan was a blind item that was later alluded to in season 6 of The L Word i.e. when Nikki Stevens has a meltdown at Chateau Marmont. Factoring in the pizza code that people are trying to decipher, it should be noted that Caroline D’amore followed in the footsteps of her parents with the literal pizza business. Back to Kris Jenner, she married Bruce Jenner in 1991 - the same year that she divorced Robert Kardashian. The latter was the best friend of O.J. Simpson. Robert, Kris, Nicole and O.J. probably had foursomes and consensual threesomes. Nicole filed for divorce in 1992, which makes me think that the men were jealous of the women since the women still remained friends.
